No. My argument is based on experience. I have been involved in enough court cases to have total respect and confidence in the system. Every Judge I have ever heard sum up a case in which I was involved has grasped the essential points and been scrupulously fair to both sides involved. I contrast this with another jurisdiction in SE Asia where I have also been involved. Now that really is corrupt, where justice is determined not by the facts but by who has the deepest pockets.

Are Universities biased? Of course they aren't. The very nature of what they do and teach means that they are always likely to have people working within them who you would probably regard as to the left of centre. The Universities themselves have no political stance. That's not part of their ethos.

Nor are the Police, whose only loyalty is to the law and the people who live under it. Individual officers will hold a variety of opinions but will all be trained to put them aside and do their job.

Nor are the MSM, where a huge variety of views can be found. You cannot think that the Mail is anything less these days than a mouth piece for hard right views. I stumbled by accident on the letters page of the Telegraph this week and was appalled at what it had chosen to print there. It was full of bile from the far right that would have made these threads seem pink in hue. Their objectivity seems to have slipped very badly because there were just no opposing views to be found anywhere.

So I am afraid your claims reveal your own bias.

I think you meant to say LODGE not Law. Before you argue I will tell you I worked for 3 years at the Police Complaints Authority so don't try the bull**** th

This depends in what context you are referring. Do they prefer giving places to foreign students who pay at least double the amount of fees than Home students?... Absolutely. Very good friend of mine experienced this first hand, his son had straight A* in Alevels but could not gain entrance to any University to study medicine. Those same Universities gave places to foreign students the same year...fact

To be fair 'criminal gets released from prison' isn't really newsworthy.

Newsworthy enough to be covered by, among others, The Guardian, Independent, Sky, Mirror, Metro, Sun, Express, Scotsman, Standard, ITV, Yahoo News, Huffington Post, Mail, Talk Radio, Daily Record and Daily Post.
Not the BBC who have however covered Sam Smith’s choice of pronoun.

He's done his time. A fair sentence. Hopefully we have seen the last of him, and he will disappear into obscurity. Surely no one listens to this muppet still?

Don't be too hard on yourself. It's only Wisbech Eagle's delusional BS rambling that many of us have given up listening to.

Of course; instead let's listen to the verdicts of the savages convicted of carrying out the crimes that TR is highlighting.
There are and will be more until the namby pamby rulers look and listen without trying to protect their reputations.

The sentence was the issue, not the crime.
Dont mix it up wissy
You are on the end of one of those differences when you injured that foreign chap with your car.

The sentence was determined by experienced Judges who I think probably know rather more about what's appropriate than his supporters.

The car "incident" is a blatant compensation attempted scam. No-one was injured in any way.

Attracting attention to yourself is hardly likely to do that.
