I thought McArthur played really well when he came on as did Sako. Anyway we get points is good by me but without Wilf we would be as good as down by now.

Outplayed for 88 mins then the flood gates open. Why can't we played like we did in the last few mins for a whole match. Well done Wilf, game changer. Honorable mention to the subs for their contributions, absolutely invaluable.

McArthur is f***ing excellent and hardly ever has a bad game. Right up front would give up some of his box-to-box ability I think but he definitely knows where the goal is. Only seen him play badly a couple of times ever - and the last one was for Scotland when they got tanked 3 - 0 at Wembley I think so that doesn't count.

We have to try and play to Sako's strengths and use him as an impact player until we can get upgrades in January. Against a pretty average (Mariappa anyone?), tiring defence his strength and direct play was easy to see. I hope this is a boost for him and that Roy can bring the best from him.
I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry. |
