How are we going to be an established premier club, if we keep on selling our best players?
How has he gone beyond the call of duty, he is very well paid for his services.

Playing in the same team with players like Sanogo, Mutch, Kelly, Van Aanholt and Puncheon and a plethora of others without a murmur of complaint when he could be playing with teammates more of his level. Not many players like Wilf would have hung around this long with our quality of squad over the last three years.

let's just win the FA Cup and then the Europa League next year. then he can stay and play at the highest level and we can all be happy.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

If the reported interest from Man City is genuine, theres got to be a little bit of Wilf thinking he'd love to go there, do well and stick it to United. Hopefully he just remembers what a dump Manchester was and how much he hated it. I just worry if silly money comes in for Wilf and we are forced to think about it. What if the money men get a 70m bid (yes hes easily worth that) and they think thats the new stand paid off!

None of us know what Wilfs motivations are or how badly moving up north scarred him last time round.

OK.

Now, realistically?

We would probably have to go to South America. Swansea did that to try to replace Gylfi and they ended up with a turkey.

Cautionary tale.

Hopefully Zaha isn’t as disrespectful about his team mates as you. He didn’t hang around before, went to Utd and failed until we rescued his career.
You don’t have an answer how we are going to be established by selling our best players.

What is wrong with people, who are saying “ he deserves to play at a bigger club” etc.
How on earth are we ever going to be a big club, if we sell all our best players.
I just don’t understand the rationale behind this small minded thinking.

The small mindedness will not come from the fans . iIt is only the owners of the club who can influence how small minded or ambitious the club can or will be.

As 'Sure as eggs' a bid from a bigger club will come in.

If Zaha has his head turned and really feels that at this stage of his career he would like to play on a bigger stage, then our club might deem that they wouldn't wish to deny him this opportunity and that it is in our interests and Zaha's that there is a parting of the ways.

So it's not a question of the owners bring "Small-minded" - they will have to take everything into consideration.

I don't expect Zaha to be with us next season.

If you put out an ex-Southampton XI still playing today it would be very good yet they never have a season these days properly fighting against relegation.

Walcott
Bale
Lallana
Mane
Aldweirald
Wanyama
Schneiderlin
Oxlade-Chamberlain
Fonte
Clyne
Lovren

We become established by being run in a very professional big-picture manner and not relying on one one player for survival. Everyone knows we are stuffed without Wilf. We should not be in that precarious position in the first place. We have had 5 years to sort that out. Southampton were in League One seven seasons ago.

Or we do a Ronaldo/Coutinho and the club tacitly agree with another to him leaving after one more season so as to lessen the shock. That would be the correct way if he is to go and i don't think he would mind either.

Having said that I am not sure we are powerful enough to pull the strings that far.

It was really only the start of last last season where his performances were consistently excellent. We've aided each other. He'll know that given his career path.
