4.5 years left on a five year contract - no one could afford him if we don't want to sell. Which we don't. Plus he clearly loves Palace and I'd stake a big wager on him not wanting to kick up a storm to move. No way he goes anywhere this summer, unless we need the cash. Would be foolish to sell such a talented player no matter how much is offered. That being said he ain't going no where this season.

personally i wouldnt begrudge man utd clawing back the £7m they lost on wilf. its only fair i suppose, especially as if we did sell him it would be for over £50m in todays market

Absolutely ridiculous thread. why exactly is it ridiculous thread? its how football works, we have a player who if were honest will outgrow our club. at some stage in time a big club will come calling again. if i was wilf i would be happy earning circa £4m a year after tax and being idolised by the fans. but then im not in the position he is in where if he moves he could prob get a payrise & win trophies & play in the champions league. for what its worth i recon weve got another 18 months before he leaves
