If someone let me swap my Achilles rupture for a few broken bones I'd be overjoyed and happily take 2..3 maybe even 4 bones! Straining ligaments is no problem. Rupturing them whole different ball game And 3 million only covers a decent strikers wages for what 1 year max

there's a middle ground here. bad ligament tears should be 9-12 months these days. 12 months is by far the longest. a very fit professional athlete probably should be training earlier. but everyone is different. CW is on the far end. but he's been injured all the time since joining. he's on a short leash. nice player but selling? no one will offer anything that is worthwhile. you don't take your bruised, over-ripe fruit to market and ask for anything beyond crap. club is in situation where they have to try to get him fit and effective. zero other options.
