Nothing in these reports the same happened last year when he took the palace job we were linked with quite a few Sunderland players but must say if pva goes to Everton I won’t be losing a lot of sleep over it

Van Aanholt surely a possibility, probably not Tomkins before the end of the season. The notion that Wilf will go to Everton is laughable.

A bit strange a club announces their transfer targets to the press, without contacting the targets club. Also all the players are from their new managers previous club. Anyone would think its all been made up!

With the coming of the 'Transfer Window' there really is a lot of rampant speculation, sometimes based on no foundation at all which has the affect of setting hairs running. All of us in the PL will be constantly linked with a plethora of players and of course sites such as HOL will be awash with an array of comments based on players linked to their respective clubs. It is the model of plausibility that it will be very busy on on HOL all the way through January !

So Palace will receive offers for players in the transfer window. Well big deal. Isn't this what is supposed to happen? If it didn't there would nt be an transfer market and Palace wouldn't ever be able to buy players.

"F*** off" is a pretty good way of squashing approaches for not-for-sale players before they've begun. As in "Hi, this is Everton here. We'd like to talk to you about Wil-" "F*** off." *click" No arguing with that.

PVA, despite recent form, has a lot to offer. We should be encouraging him through this time of low confidence because he can be a cracking player. Same as Benteke, he has the potential to 'own' the PL scoring stats, if we can encourage him to get going. Kelly played well recently, yet he's been bagged so often, who'd have thought he could actually play? Look what an 'average' Palace team did to Leicester. This squad was messed up by a discouraging pre-season and FDB appointment - RH is quickly getting them out of that miry pit and we need to get behind him. We need to stop bagging our own players on here and start showing some love. If not, we are hypocritically doing what we accuse Palace of doing ie: shooting ourselves in our own feet.
