I no it's easy to moan and criticise but I think any striker at any age level at palace would of scored more than 2 all season.

Let's say benteke scored 7 goals which is still crap, it would have given us a win and perhaps a draw at the minimum making us nearly safe. I put it down to benteke we are in this league position.

It's the same old few. Like i said i hate slating him, but what does he do to make you feel better other than keeping the ball out of our net, which is brilliant don't get me wrong.

He attracts criticism, he might get his head on a few crosses and the odd pass through to his fellow team mate's, and again it's lead to a penalty for us but what else does he do really answer that "Hutchyeagle".

You might have "played at a high level and quality" back in your day, it's the here and now what counts and if he just put a few of his 20 odd chances away we would'nt be where we are now in a religation dogfight which ive said quite a few times.

He doesn't help himself out of the big hole he's in at the moment no matter how hard he plays it's not going to change is it. Keep him benched the penny might drop " one day " probably when he plays for another club where he can go and mug them off at £120.000 a week see how the other chairman feels about that.

he is a key player and just having one of those seasons. Scored 16 PL goals last year and there was a 400+ thread wanting Parish to bring him to the club.

We are so quick to want players out the club and bring in who....We all want a quick, prolific goal scorers, but they are difficult to find.

History shows that Wickham and Sørloth are not prolific...they don’t get the same level of stick.

I has tested my patience on more than one occasion but we are 17th in the premier league. I think Benteke is the best we can hope for and a bit of support through this rough patch.

It wouldn't amaze me if buyers baulked at his wage demands given that there's no guarantee he'll ever get his powers back, and if that's the case we'll be lucky to get f*** all for him. Probably better off letting Hodgson try to fix him, if he can't nobody can.
