How did he manage to stay on the pitch after half time? That miss was awful. I would be happy never to see him start again again. Get rid: play Sørloth. That penalty he took against Bournemouth is really costing us, hopefully it won’t at the seasons end & he’s out the door. They shot horses for being lame etc ..

Great lay off on 85 minutes with a outside boot touch that got wilf in, did some good touches today, got unlucky with a great save from there keeper down to his left at holmesdale, not a bad game at all, obviously didnt score but if he keeps going his luck will change and is averaging 1 in 2 in last week with an assist today!

It did occur to me that 2 goals in 4 games isn't actually horribly bad at all. But more to the point so much of our forward play goes through him, anything forward from midfield into Benteke then out to Wilf, Townsend, van Aanholt, McArthur etc to set up for a cross or else longer into the box where Benteke can knock it down for just about anyone else to have a go. We've seen lots of videos of Soerloth knocking in crosses but this kind of play might not be his bag, at least not yet. All of them need to improve their finishing, not just Tekers.

The man showed what he thinks of the fans at Swansea with that finger in the ears s***. Sooner he goes the better. Another arrogant pig who believes he's better than the club.

Like all clubs we’ve had some really poor strikers over the years and Benteke must be right up there. He really is a waste of space and the sooner we get rid of him the better. If I was Sørloth I would have been delighted watching him today.

I was going to put the limited options at the end but thought it was obvious, but he could have started the new guy today if he thought benny was that bad, maybe he thinks benteke adds to other parts of the game, winning headers for a start, bringing others into play like the great lay off in the 85 minute that i already mentioned! Its easy to pick on a player who isnt having much luck, but without him we would have lost at west ham and lost today, having caused enough panic today to get his shirt pulled back and the only goal at west ham for us! Thats 2 points down to benteke, if westay up by 2 i trust the knockers will thank him!,,,,but he lost us 2 with the penalty miss i hear you ask? That was desperation for which he apologised to the team for and weve moved on, so last 2 games, 2 points due to benteke!
