I no Benteke is more or less fantastic to most palace fans but you've got to draw a line under what he's done this season and that's full of failure infront of goal and not doing the the main thing a striker should be doing within a team that can and should be able to get us out of mess we're in i really hope that roy does drop him for the Spurs match and that's got to be new lad let's try him out see how he is doing a shift with wilf if fit hopefully he is back wait and see

a 10 man palace team would perform better than having a full team with this twonk wearing out the turf.

Good job we know for a fact that Luka would definitely have scored that penalty, and don't have any record of him missing an important penalty in injury time.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

It must be at least 5 assists including winning penalties, not 4.

look...im not really defending the guy. I think signing him was a huge mistake (by the americans) and while I think people are being tools about his closing down (don't think he's ever been mobile enough to do it) I do think there are things he can and must improve.

specifically he's just got to gamble in the box more, move around more, make runs (in the box) more.

But on the point of his assists...lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater. he's making goals at the minute, which is the next best thing to scoring them.

And I think he's playing well I feel. he's winning headers, laying it off dangerously. it's not amazingly brilliant but people need to forget about the price ...he didn't make us pay it.

Who knows...maybe he'll turn a few assist into goals and turn it round.

if we destroy the man by getting exasperated at what he can't do, we may do huge damage to the club itself. if he feels appreciated...who knows what he might do.

to be blunt mate i think he's shockin at moment fair enough he might have got 15 goals last season and probably in a way kept us up but im just thinking about the rest of the team who are laying him on creating chances for him and he's just not interested in helping the lads out by putting them away he just doesn't warrant getting paid £120.000 a week and to think that we paid £30million for his services as things are he needs benchin the way we are with him we'll be lucky to get more than half back if we sold him on to some other team he's just mugin us off and again paying him for doing f**k all basically it's not on sorry..about the other posts i just drive myself crazy when i get them back saying i don't support palace and everything else what comes with it it feels as though ive got to prove them wrong in a way i bleed RED WHITE AND BLUE it's stupid i no it just drives me mad pal.
