Nasty bloke but a very good manager, he will get you promotion of that I'm sure. Wanted him to stay at Palace but just not a likeable person at all!!

I respect what TP did for CPFC when he arrived. His performance that season can't be overstated. Yes, it then went sour, for reasons that remain (to me) somewhat baffling. Given the court case in the intervening period and the financial loss he suffered, I thought he was incredibly gracious in congratulating CPFC after their 2-0 victory at the Hawthorns last season. I sincerely wish Middlesborough well under him.

He actually did well for us in footballing terms. I was expecting totally defensive football but in fact it was not that way at all. We had pace in the side and he used it and played decent football. He is naturally a defensive type manager , although not as defensive and limited as BFS , but if the the squad has attacking players he will utilise then. Should do you well.

So in short, decent manager, doesn't like flair players and over time the football you play will reflect this and a dishonest Cnut who tried screwing our chairman and lost big time. Likewise, some comparison in how the relationship ended with that of BFS, one minute happy and doing well, then transfer talk with SP and the relationships with good managers seem to go sour!

He may be different for Boro, but for Palace he acted like an administrator who had come in to fix a problem. He didn't even pretend to have any care for the club or the fans and then, as already stated, f**ked off in dubious circumstances. You'd be better off asking WBA or Stoke fans though, as they got to 'enjoy' Pulis for much longer periods. Personally I hope he does terribly, gets the boot and is never seen in football again. We played better football under Allardyce, (initially) more exciting and entertaining football under Pardew and finally we got Hodgson who is 10 times the man and manager that Pulis is. As a final note, I just want to say he is a massive c*nt

He did a good job for us and has a great work ethic which rubs off on the players and everyone at the club but was always distant from the fans. He's a mercenary and has no soul. Something devious and sinister about him, and certainly wouldn't trust him. He will stay around as long as it takes to grab the big bag of cash. I wonder if any fans of his previous clubs would welcome him back? He seems quite well presented in the media but doesn't seem the trustworthy type once you're 'up close'. Funnily enough, now I think about it, before he was at Palace someone who knew him from his time around Bournemouth said his son was an absolute w***er. But people always say stuff like that. I didn't really take any notice of him at the time (he said they'd played together) but now I look back that seems quite feasible! I assume he's referring to Anthony Pulis who evidently didn't play for Bournemouth so this may be dog s***. So in the interests of fairness, I'll paste a Wikipedia fact: Willo, you're welcome to have that one for free. Did an incredible job for us though. Jose Mourinho is just a s*** Tony Pulis when you think about it. He just had Didier Drogba and Ibrahimovic instead of Peter Crouch. Sam Allardyce is the better all round character and manager in my opinion, and that's despite his England debacle.

Yes he is a great organiser and you can expect your team to tighten up defensively. You can also expect to improve on you set pieces both in terms of scoring from them and defending them. I think ( can someone correct me ) but this season we have scored one goal from a corner but under Pulis we had both the best record defending corners in the league as well as scoring from them.

on a personal note... i can't stand those white trainers on the touchline. Looks really scummy. the perma-scowl and the frowning does not fit many football clubs. but i do enjoy the way he got up Arsene Wengers big nose. ''that was not a football match, that was a rugby team''
