While I am sure they are all nice young ladies are they not as out dated as Debbie Does . In 2018 this is not the way we should be promoting our club. What do you think particuly women.

I think they are a group of young ladies who love dancing and have been given the chance to regularly perform in front of twenty five thousand people. Not many performers get that chance.

Yeah, I don't like the way they're marched in at gun point and told to perform for all the dirty old men.

They're cheerleaders, NFL and basketball has them so why can't we? I think we're the only football team in england to have them, just googled to check that and I love this quote from the Telegraph - "The Crystals are free to go home once they have completed their half-time cameo." Haha. It's all part of our unique atmosphere I think. People will be complaining about Kayla next.

A thread starts up on this subject every couple of years. The girls design their own costumes and make up their own routines. Everybody primarily goes to Selhurst to watch the football. I have no doubt that a few people have some weird thoughts when the girls are dancing, but equally there are probably a few people who have the same thoughts about the players. I think the girls and players can live with it.

It's the Operation Yewtree geezers who wave to them at half time.

At least they're a big improvement on the girls - was it twenty years ago? - who used to do not much, and then finished what ever they were doing or not doing by standing on each other's shoulders to form a pyramid - normally in front of the Arthur, if my memory serves me right.

Decades before that, of course, we had the Dollies, who on the day we reached the top division for the first time in our history presented the players with bouquets of flowers. Don't think that would go down very well now. Not sure it did at the time.

The darts have abandoned the use of walk-on girls, so cheerleaders, as the embodiment of decadence and debauchery, should be next.

I for one look forward to a puritanical life with no naked flesh or any form of filth.

Not!!!!

Cheerleading is pretty much a sport thesedays. Its hard work to get into shape for it.

I don't have a problem with them doing their thing and promoting the club, its a world apart from walk ons at the darts or "grid girls" at F1.

Hear hear and all sexual relations should henceforth be performed fully clothed with the participants standing at least ten feet apart (all relevant bodily fluids can be carried between partners by an accredited government official).
