Sorloth (22) failed in Dutch club Groningen and has 1 goal in 12 appearences for Norway. Let's hope he slots straight into the team. Remember though, this is the Scandinavian preseason so don't expect too much too soon...

No, they're on the winter break. He's left his team top of the league after 19 games and he has 9 goals.
He should be close to match fit.

My understanding is that he hasn't played since Mid-December.

Yes, that would be when the winter break started. The league is due to start up again next week, I would expect a professional football club to have the players back in training before then.
He might not be featuring this week but we may well see him on the bench for the game after.

Ridiculously low or ridiculously high, do you mean?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Looking at the videos, he can score comfortably with both feet and lots from his head. (being 6' 4) Strong, puts himself about, gets into the right positions and looks comfortable on the ball. Exactly what you want from a striker. Will be interesting to see if Roy plays him as a lone striker or partnering Benteke.

Hmm looking at his goals, he'll be treading on Benteke's toes. So can they play together or is he a replacement?

Against WHU as we know Palace played with 2 strikers. In the previous few matches Sako had played very effectively with Benteke upfront. I am sure Roy will find a way of playing Sorloth and Benteke effectively together. If Roy prefers a lone striker option, then I am sure Roy would have Sørloth on the bench and then bring him on after 70 mins etc

Reportedly here in Holland 22 million Euros, just over 19m Sterling

This, although I suspect Jørgensen would be in the £25m range.

Got a sneaky suspicion that Sako wil be off in a few months anyway(hope I'm wrong)and Sørloth is in to pick up the slack when either of them go off the boil. Bit of competition never hurts and Sørloth (great signing) looks ideal and possibly capable of pushing both strikers and getting results, although as other posts mention, a tad over priced.

exciting times ahead..
