Makes no sense to me, his loan deal won't be affected by a UEFA ruling that only came out yesterday, surely??

They have to be able to afford the transfer fee and as they have obviously breeches FFP and won't be in Europe next season they are going to struggle to pay the reported 6m for him.

In that scenario he would come back to us, at the end of his two year loan, or possibly before if he wants to leave and we want him back and can afford him

Could a team who may want him swap players or buy another player from them for silly money just to give them the finance to pay us. Then buy sorloth from them. Not sure if their breach stops this happening. Just a thought.

I can see this possibility.

Or they dump other less valuable players to reduce their wage bill!

In that case wouldn't they just get someone to loan them cash buy ar £6m then immediately sell on for big money repaying any borrowed money and keeping balance?

They'd be mugs if they didn't try to do something like that. Our contract was very one sided and handed all the initiative to them.

Like their reserve keeper going to Real Madrid for £10m euros, and Sorloth joining the year after. Think anything like that would be a bit transparent. Depends if the FFP includes a transfer ban

The fact you're comparing Bolaise and Bright to Sorloth tells me all I need to know about you and your knowledge of football.

It is my Opinion that Sorloth is not good enough for the Premiership. What makes you so important as to tell me I'm wrong. Unless you are Greedman in disguise and you're trying to cover your monumental cock up and waste of money.

Dannyh your wrong

Yes why not , I very rarely comment on stuff on here because of the shouty people who feel the need to be overly aggressive in their comments.

No post on this thread for a while....

... perhaps because Sorloth hasn't been finding the going in Germany quite the cake walk that it was in Turkey. His total to date is a single goal in 14 league games for Leipzig, so perhaps we didn't lose out in the way some of us feared.

Having said that 1 in 14 we would still be a welcome return from some of our players
