I imagine that might be it for him at Palace seeing as his contract is up in the summer. I really feel for him as he finally found some form, got fit, had a smile on his face and then Zabayeta does what he does, which is to hurt people. The reality is though that he has done very little for the wages we paid him and it would be a risk to offer him similar terms. I suppose we could offer him 12 months to earn a longer contract, but you could argue that he should already of done that by now.

Whatever the case, in the short term it is another blow. Thank goodness the Spam's thugs didn't injure Zaha, as although it's sh*t to see what happened to Sako, without Zaha we'd probably struggle to stay up.

Sako was the one doing things of late - Zaha's been poor for weeks now.

No intervention if the ref saw it and made a decision. If the ref made a feeble decision he's deemed to have dealt with it. Only if he misded it entirely can Zabaleta get the extensive ban he deserves.
