in Roy, we have a truly outstanding manager.

in 'strength and depth' of the squad we have weakness compared to our rivals.

in Benteke, we have disappointment and anger.


finish fourth from bottom, last kick of the season.

relegation :
West Brom, Huddersfield, Brighton ( hopefully )

Sadly,while I suspect the baggies and Huddersfield are down, the risk is the 3rd slot... And I don't think it will be that team.

Look as daunting as our run in was last season is as realistically undaunting as it is this year;

Everton 10/2
Spurs (H) 26/2
Man U (H) 5/3
Chelsea 10/3
Huddersfield 17/3
Liverpool (H) 31/3
Bournemouth 7/4
Brighton (H) 14/4
Watford 21/4
Leicester (H) 28/4
Stoke 5/5
WBA (H) 15/5

We need 12 points out of that..!!

Of the top 6 we have 4 left to play - 3 of them at home.

After Liverpool - our last 6 games are all winnable.

In between that we have Huddersfield.

Also Chelski are in turmoil, Liverpool are poor at the back, we must be due a result against Manure and I'd love to beat Spuds..!!

Zaha - if 4 weeks is right should be back for Chelski 10/3 hopefully by then RLC and Sclupp back too.

If we can't secure 12 points out of that with the squad we have then we don't deserve to be in the Prem - its that simple.

I'm sure we will and think we'll finish minimum 15th - still think could achieve our best Prem finish yet.

Willo - feel sorry for your wife - coffee mornings and winter evenings must fly by..!!!

Zaha due back for Liverpool not Chelsea

Last 6 games zaha schlupp and possibly rlc back v some of divisions weaker teams.

Obviously depends on no further major injuries...

thank god we are out of the FA cup. What a distraction and an injury risk it all is.

the relegation rivals that stay in the FA cup will find it very tough against us in the league table. good.


and just noticed that the chelsea game is against a backdrop of them playing in cup and champions league games before and after us. Much more tired, hopefully some key injuries, ... would love to do chelsea for 3 points again.

I would never start a "Willo was correct" thread.
In actual fact when I was wrong last season I started a "I was wrong" thread and got pilloried for it ! I was answering those detractors who believe that I have some sort of ego hence decided that I would highlight that I was totally wrong and was delighted to be so.But of course some decided that I was trying to initiate a "Willo Thread".

I will not find any joy in being proved right this season - I shall be distraught.If I am wrong I will be absolutely delighted.
