Is anyone else out there also bemused by the lack of tactical and substitutions in the match against Everton. Benteke is struggling with confidence and TFM is no centre half. We needed a shake up but stuck to the same method in the game that was not working. Not like Roy. Hence bemused. Thoughts anyone?

Roy's clearly pissed off with the window and is making a point. Jach and the Swede are not up to premiership standard, so what was the point of signing them. Especially the latter. He hasn't used an unforced sub since January 2nd. Coincidence? Bollocks it is. Yet people lose their sh(t when some on here point out how Parish has mugged him off.

Kind of makes you wonder why we stopped CYL's move to Bolton. If he couldn't get into the team at any point yesterday then it is not likely he ever will.

Roy said some time ago that there are players at the club that are of no use to him. Those players are still there and he will only use them if there is no alternative.

He has failed to make tactical substitutions on many occasions recently, I think the last 6 or maybe 6 in 7. So, it is quite like Roy to not make them.

Could be a very good point that RH is fed up with the guys upstairs. January widow IMO was a disaster, one loan (almost unknown) 2 young lads for the future (great) but what about NOW??? I still have a feeling we will survive but NO thanks to them upstairs.

I've no doubt that Sam thought the same. Question is, will Roy walk when he realises he can't replace them in the summer (13 players are out of contract) or will be just stick at it and en up getting sacked when we are in a worse position next season. By that I don't mean that Roy will not try and do a good job but there is only so much you can polish a tu... mud pile.

Cant deny that i believe this season, from disasterous summer and two awful windows, and the fact that we're struggling again, is pretty much all down to Parish. It just is. However i dont dislike the bloke, at the end of the day he's a palace fan made good, just think that he's entirely culpable time and time again, yet never learns. It's frustrating, but hey. It's a Palace forum, and IMHO it's the root of our ills, so it's natural to bring it up. Also it's pertinent to this subject, as i believe that Roy's somewhat stubborn (and possibly verging on the unprofessional) refusal to sub tiring players is detrimental to squad fitness, with an already threadbare squad, is absolutely a protest at Parish. Transfer window was a disaster for us. Mutch wasnn't on the bench. However he could have given Rakip a run out, brought on Riedewald for someone to give fresh energy in midfield. Or how about taking off Benteke, moving Sorloth into the middle with Rakip on the right, put Townsend on the left? We'd lost the game, save some leg and try things out. Oh, and I don't think out best 11 was on the pitch because Sorloth isn't better than one or two on the bench at this stage of his career.
