Supporters will always refer to it as 'Selhurst Park' just as Newcastle supporters referred to their stadium as 'St James Park' after it was renamed. When York's ground was renamed the 'KitKat' stadium they used to provide the Away 'Board' with boxes of KitKats ! Edited by Willo (01 Mar 2018 3.03pm)

Selhurst is not that famous or well-loved by anyone except us. But one can't help but think while other teams may get Reebok or Redbull, we would get Ryvita.

Naming rights only really work with a new stadium. Selhurst will always be Selhurst to us but if we moved to a new ground and called it the Bupa standium, it would always be known as the Bupa.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |
