An other very good performance from AWB, but Man of the Match today was undoubtedly Jamie Tomkins. Glad Southgate did not pick him for England..we need JT injury-free for rest of season.

We have a diamond in Wan Bissaka , his excellent clean tackles will make him a prized asset for hopefully years to come . He don't look half bad at the other end of the pitch either .

Reckon the Beast will want to show the Scousers what he is made of. In fact this will be his first game against them since his move. Him and Wilf were absent earlier in the season.

The best centre-backs in England aren't the ones who play behind star-studded attack forces like City or whatever who keep a lot of pressure off them and make sure they have nothing to do. They're the ones who fight against attacks like that for a hundred minutes without making mistakes or giving the ball back to them as soon as they've won it. On that basis I'd sooner have Tomkins then Smalling or Stones, for example.
