Absolutely remarkable individual who humbles so many, if not the rest of us.

I hadn't got a clue what he was on about.

But fair play to him, you had to admire him.

He'll have a large chunk about him in 'A Brief History of Humanity'.

SH RIP

Having met him a number of times this is a sad day personally. He was a great lover of music and made the effort to often go to performances (big fan of West Side Story I heard him say).

The biggest loss in the current climate is his advocacy on behalf of the NHS and his fight against the systematic destruction of it by Jeremy Hunt and Andrew Lansley before him. To have a person of his intellect, profile and experience speaking out on behalf of patients, doctors and the public was a boon in the fight to save the NHS. It's a sad day for all of us that he will not be around to carry on that battle.

A man of mass appeal who has gone to the great event horizons in the dimensional universe.

It's sad that you decided to use this death to make a political point.

Typical Corbynite behaviour bringing party politics into the debating arena just like his reprehensible ramblings in relation to the incident in Salisbury. This is a time to praise the great Stephen Hawking NOT to use this as an opportunity for Anti-Tory rhetoric

Thoughts go out to the family and friends of a great man.
Stephen Hawking RIP.

Hear Hear.
I made this point in my last post.
I think you are being very kind using the word "Sad".The words that enter my head are more damning.

Anyway, let's move on and concentrate on the great Stephen Hawking rather than get embroiled in this debate.
