Judging by the picture of the 'perp', he already has a load of prison tats. So should feel quite at home. If he had stuck to getting the dog to raise it's paw upon hearing 'sieg hail' he would have (probably) been in the clear, but the 'g*s the j**s' has cooked his goose, and rightly so.

Tatist, if I can prove in a court of law that your comments about tattoos & prison offend me then your looking at a year in prison. This is what you're advocating right? I am not one to be easily offended, and am certainly not going to get offended for someone else, but just saying 'this is a joke' before then saying something highly offensive, or plain distasteful isn't an excuse. That said, the prison stretch is probably overkill. Oh, and do you seriously call people 'dear boy' in real life?

Think of all the comedians who have made distasteful jokes, all the distasteful memes that do the rounds on social media, it's all fair game for investigation/ prosecution now which is a dangerous precedent to set. But why did he think posting that particular statement wouldn't raise some kind of backlash. Maybe he should have taught the dog to stand on it back legs when he shouts 'hang the n......, would you have been comfortable with that?

Weird case all around, hadn't even heard about it until this thread. I think stuckinbristol is pretty much on the money, but I don't know why the police decided to instigate it without complaint. The bloke might want to stick to a whatsapp group instead of youtube in the future.
