Not Rudi is it?

I sense the sarcasm but nonetheless here's a quick summary for you to save you from all the reading

Last set of accounts.

Income:

TV money £121m

Total £150.3m

Player expenditure only:

Amortisation £46m
Wages £117.3m

Total £163.3m

Non Footballing costs £21.9m

Total expenditure £185.2m (£186.9m after depreciation and gain on player sales)

Clubs net profit was -£35.9m

2015 £29m
2016 £20.7m

This is the first year so far we will potentially make a profit from sales.

At 30th June 2018 we owe clubs £49m in unpaid transfer fees. At the same date wee had borrowings of £63.9m including a £38m interest free loan and a further £24m loan from the owners.

Pretty sure they could borrow, though would up their total outlay a small amount. Of course, Palace could do likewise based on committed income. Shouldn't be a deal-breaker

You would treat Directors' Loans as a current liability if they are repayable on demand. So the accounts can give an indication (I haven't looked at CPFC's accounts).

That's very kind of you John my hands are held up. Best we do sell Wilf then

Would like to add though, if there is no money,as the accounts say, how come we've had 20m bids turned down for James and the Italian lad. Roy has also stated he's expecting signings. No sarcasm etc intended just wondered

Amortisation is non cash though so it’s a cash positive year (excluding purchases).

Yes amortisation is a non-cash charge. However,to calculate something close to the cash flow, the net transfer spend of £50 million must be substituted for amortisation which gives a cash outflow in 2018 of around £40 million, presumably funded by loans.

Starting to look a bit late for Wilf. Probably knowing us will get done in 10 days, just before the close. SP will have £100m + in bank and Ayew up front with Benteke.

In that case Parish and the Americans will have difficulty in getting their money back once we're relegated

obviously should be rejected, but I have no faith Parish wont cave-in and accept.
