IF he goes it will far from a blessing in disguise...tell yourself that if you want, but it is, or will never be a blessing in disguise.

On this, we agree.

He's not in the Celtic team this evening, & has not featured that much since Lennon took over... we could do worse

IF he goes to Everton I wouldn’t be at all surprised if part of the deal from our side is that he doesn’t play on Saturday...

Not allowed to be part of any deal, that sort of thing was banned by the League a few years ago, but I expect they'll be a gentlemen's agreement on it.

It’s too late now for Wilf to go now, if he handed in that transfer request as soon as the season finished then fair enough. Let’s be honest both Arsenal and Everton have messed us and Wilf about. It’s not the clubs fault that the value hasn’t been met...

We have nothing to gain by letting him go on the eve of the transfer window closing...

Just let him go, look how far weve come as a club since he made his debut. Make no mistake he has been hugely influential in our success. We wouldn't be where we are without him. He will always be a legend at our club and one of our greatest ever players. Everton are a bigger club and are paying more money. Thats life it's the equivalent of liverpool losing a player to Barca or madrid.

Dont blame zaha his made it plainly obvious for the last 3 seasons he has ambitions higher than us. Blame the board they've handled this transfer window and especially wilfs situation terribly. Should have been sorted out weeks ago.

I agree we should just let him go.

But I only say that in the hope we change our style and stop relying on Zaha weaving into the box and either:

a. getting a penalty
b. crossing to no one in particular (let's face it he can't cross)
c. being crowded out and losing the ball
d. having a speculative shot and every once in a while seeing it go in

I honestly think Benteke doesn't score because the team doesn't play to his strengths. He's big, strong and good in the air when he can attack the ball. He needs crosses from the goal line, not crosses angled in from the edge of the 18 yard box by Townsend or sailing over his head from Zaha.

If we can replace Zaha with a left footed winger that get to the goal line and accurately cross the ball then I'll be happy.

Of course Zaha leaving will screw my fantasy league team - with VAR I was relying on him for the penalties

In what circumstances did it become stained exactly?

Debbie Harry....
