This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle That performance shows why the big 6 or any top european side wouldnt touch him with a barge pole. iv always said it about him, he gets away with it for us but he is a liabilty. Playing football like he's the biggest boy in the playground. He gave the ball more than 10 times today

He gave the ball more than 10 times today I think he would be much better in a top side whereby they dominate games and get the ball to him quicker. In our ponderous side by the time they get the ball to him the opposition have retreated and he is surrounded by players.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle He didn't play well today, but he's behind the rest of team as he was at AFCON and only came back just over two weeks ago. Unfortunately I think it will take a few weeks before we see him back at his best. We all know his emotions play a big part in how he performs and sometimes it goes against us and other times we get an Arsenal performance. This whole transfer business has clearly got to him and only time will heal that.

Top sides apparently don't want him and value him at AWBs price at best. They aren't interested for a reason, my guess is his attitude.

Can we still flog him abroad or is the window shut? Because FIFA demands the window must be open for 12 weeks, the window will open around May 17, shortly after the final games of the season on May 13. Clubs will be able to sell players until August 31 but not buy replacements after the deadline of August 9. its a bit confusing but i think yes

This is the only sensible post today, along with Bangell’s saying he had to come deep in the press of players into his own half to receive the ball. He didn’t not care last week did he? There was something very wrong with our preparation and selection today, and Wilf is not a forward. The amount of failed one on ones is a big clue.
