So that blows out of the water any idea that you have the slightest clue what *really* goes on in these so-called "evaluations". You've copied your statement straight from the PR spin of the organisation you obviously represent. Anyone watching today's game or so many other matches would meet that spin with the derisory guffaw that it clearly deserves because it's what happens in the matches that matters, and what happens in the matches is f***ing toilet.

I think you must be a retired civil servant and not only that you must be one of those policy EOs whose job it was to trot out mealy-mouthed weasel-worded ereplies to "Treat Officially" correspondence, i.e. the letters that (normally junior) officials write to members of the public when they write to a Minister about some consequence of his bumbling incompetence. Of course, such replies were cut-and-pasted standard responses carefully drafted in advance by PR experts and Special Advisers (i.e. spin doctors) to make manifestly incompetent and/or dishonest people look as if they can be trusted whilst obscuring the ghastly truth.

One would only have to preface the above-quoted paragraph of feeble spin with the words "I have been asked to reply" and it would look just like such a letter.

You come out with identical s*** every time a referee in one of our matches performs incompetently. Which is about every other week. And we've demonstrated to you time and time again why it's bollocks: if it were true, officials' performances would improve; they don't; they are getting worse, and worse, and worse.

Today's referee was totally incompetent and miles out of his depth and it's long overdue that you woke up, got your head out of your arse and smelled the coffee.

1. Another point closer to safety after a poor first half performance.
2. All the huff and puff about Wilf moving on will now hopefully die down following all the excitement after the Brighton game.
3. Cheeky is not off to the World Cup playing like he did today. Recover fully over the summer and Chelsea not getting carried away with a ridiculous fee.
4. Good servant over the past 6 years, good cover at right or left back next season, but time to move over and let AWB rake up the role.
5. Wayne to be replaced as No 1 keeper, but has done enough to merit a contract extension and provide suitable back up. I am his biggest critic, but he has played well last 5 or 6 games.
6. Thommo is an absolute rock. POTY by a mile in my book. Just hope the big boys don’t notice and come a knocking, given all the excitement over Johnny Evans last summer.

Good points. RLC's best performance this season unfortunately has been in England colours. Would like to see him involved more in the attacking play such as playing in players, shooting etc. As we kept with him in Jan, we may well make a bid. However cannot see Chelski letting him go on the cheap though and they will have a new manager, so this may run for sometime. Tomkins has had a good season, just pipped by me by Luka, Wilf the other obvious stand out.
