Unfortunately I don’t think there is any video of Tambling’s goal at OT, but from memory of the reports it was a screamer.

We had off-loaded Cliff Holton at the end of the previous season and Kevan was seen as a replacement, but I am sure an ageing Cliff would have been better. Ian Lawson came in at the same time and was probably even worse than DK.

I think some people on this thread are just listing our worst ever players. However, for me, a "donkey" of a player is one who has the particular "qualities" of being heavy, slow and immobile. On that score add Ben Anderson who played briefly for us around 1974-75.
