I don't personally believe we need another holding midfielder but we are quite clearly in the market for one, with our links to Amadou in January and also Dendoncker this summer.

If that's the case, I'd have a look at Wilmar Barios for Colombia. He's looked excellent so far. Plays for Boca Juniors & supposedly has a release fee of £14million so within budget.

Spurs are one club reportedly interested & if you'd watched him so far you can see why.

Barring the naughtiness, I actually think he was excellent tonight.

Granted there maybe cheaper options, but it’s a simlair fee that’s been quoted for both Dendoncker and also Amadou who’s now gone to Sevilla.

I know who I’d prefer out of the 3.

ALEKSANDR GOLOVIN- Russian Midfielder
1 goal, 2 assists. Has really played well in the world cup so far. Attracting interest from chelsea.

Cost- Roughly £15 mil

He is a CM so would serve as a good replacement for Cabaye who recently left, and add a bit of a spark to our midfield options

Hirving Lozano- Mexican Winger, can play on both wings.
1 goal 1 assist in 4 games which isn't bad. However, his time at PSV is certainly worth a mention. at 22 years of age, he is becoming quite the hot prospect, with big clubs looking to snatch him up. A possible signing? Unlikely, both would love to see him as a Townsend replacement.

Cost- £20 Mil on a good day

Could be the answer to our attacking worries, definitely would take pressure off Zaha.

Loftus-Cheek- English CM

He had a brilliant spell at Palace, looks great during the world cup despite his first appearance. Ruben and Wilf played together brilliantly. With Chelsea constantly looking for new midfielders, I wouldn't be surprised if we would be able to buy him at some point if not loan him again.

Cost- £10-15 mil, maybe more if England win the world cup.

Again, we need midfielders badly. Maybe he is the answer?
