After a lively start we look somewhat lack-luster.

I keep waiting for Sorloth to show that he genuinely has something to offer. The wait goes on.

Townsend’s looking great. The problem is the other 10!

Must say YT, you have picked a nice part of the country to live.

Very impressed.

It’s not you. He’s having a poor game.

Sorloth looks absolute pony.

Fave bit of the half was Brighty on comms saying Townsend doesn’t shoot enough. I thought literally all he does is cut inside and shoot!

Riedewald really is a great little player.

Not a Cabaye replacement in any sense of the word. He's an anchor and if he replaces anyone in our squad it's Luka.

Of course that wont be a popular proposition. But I would like to see a lot more of him this season. We potentially have something special on our hands.

Riedewald freeing Luka to replace Cabaye always seemed the possibility to me

Strong lineup, potentially what we go with against Fulham, bar Luka and any transfers

Chance for Sorloth to stake claim with Benteke and Wickham injured

Anyone post the lineup and rough formation please.

Where did they get this ref from? He makes horrible look good. I've seen Central Park muggers make less contact and get caught.

Let's hope he is getting it out of his system now, but he wasn't immune to making some awful decisions last season, usually by being too concerned to play the ball out to the feet of a team mate when a hoof may have been better.

He or anyone any good in the Cabaye role?

Not sure who's in exactly which role (last season or today) but Jario+Macca looking OK.

Last season: Luka + 2 from Macca, RLC, Cabaye
This season: Luka + Macca & Jairo?
