This is why the club to sort this mess needs to consult all season ticket holders on the subject of if they want a singing section (which I think inevitably will stand) and to ascertain how big the demand is (ie do how many want to be part of it). Then the club can decide from demand where best location is

This is where I have a problem, and nobody has really answered my question, apart from saying 'nobody knows'. How would a singing section work. ... do you move people out who don't want to stand and sing all game, then put tickets up for sale, saying that anyone who buys them must stand and sing all game. first come. first serve. Or vetted by the HF?Sounds to me like a good way for someone who currently have a s**t seat, to be able to move to a very good one, while fans who have had their good seat for years, would have to sit in those s**t seats left over.

May I take this opportunity to remind you that thus far we still have freedom of speech in the UK.
If you ban semi -literate postings you would lose a large chunk of your posters, apart from being prejudiced against people with language difficulties.
As for lowering the tone, don't make me laugh, that really is cobblers.

The answer is nobody know till demand is known. This would also be the same for any safe standing trial when (if) allowed.

If there is demand for a "singing section" of 300 people where would this fit best in ground and using the german model talked about earlier which says the area should not impact on other supporters which is why they are either in a corner or take up an entire tier in a stand. If the demand is 5000 then a different area is more suitable.

The Club must then decide how it deals with people who have season tickets and do not want to be part of section. I would have thought based on how long they have held season tickets they get first choice of available seats and possibly freezing their season ticket price at old level for 1 season.

My view is the new singing section should not be considered HF but the CPFC singing section.

Casual fans (ie those without season tickets) who buy tickets should be told this is a singing section so that they have an opportunity to go elsewhere if available.

For what its worth, I went to watch Hamburg Vs FC Heidenheim in Budesliga 2 last weekend. The whole stadium is rail seating/safe standing and probably 80% of the stadium was standing.

The atmosphere is so far superior compaired to anything I've experienced in England, even at Palace. The ultra section covered the whole lower tier behind one goal with the upper tier and corners joining in (we were upper tier in the corner). Flags were up, people bouncing for 90 mins.

This is common in most European stadiums and its clear what the HF are trying to achieve. This won't happen from the front of Block B which is why they need to move. I appreciate there is the seating difficulty but if the club doesn't act soon we could lose them for good. Wilf aside, they are the clubs biggest asset.

The answer is for the HF to return to Block B with immediate effect. That will solve the atmosphere problem and then negotiations can begin in a proper manner. If they don't or won't then we will all know who is to blame for any failure to reach a workable conclusion.

That won't work,it's far too sensible.

Each to their own,but I think calling the HF our 2nd biggest asset is a bit wild.
In reality they're only a side show, and have little effect on performances on the pitch.
