Obstruction of view of the pitch (by standing people) will lose more people from attending than anything previously discussed. I remember standing on terraces and it's not something I would want to go back to - many people only stood on the terrace as it was half the price of sitting in the 'stands'!

This ^^^ Same here but we go with the kids (age 11 and 12) who don't really want to go anymore as they end up behind someone who stands (as others are standing in front of them) and can't see most of the game even if they end up standing on their seats.....

So no, it wouldn't be According to the post from the BBS it was an open invite to all those that wanted to stand, not just spotty teens or middle aged has-beens.

I would personally convert the whole lower tier as standing too.

I mean anfield, goodison and old Trafford. those places were extraordinarily loud. now they're genuinely on a par/ often worse than us.
