After 7 games. How many points?

After the de Boer fiasco at the start of last season, we ended up with no points after 7 games. This year the fixtures are fairly kind in the first 7 games with only Liverpool out of the top 6 to play. We have now a good manager in Roy, no major upheaval's in staff, except loss of Cabaye and RLC, but players could come in. How many points do you think do you expect us to have after 7 games this season? I think 11 points as a minimum, as we have tough games to follow.

De Boer didn't have Zaha at his disposal except for a few minutes during the first game. As we all know, we didn't win a single game without him, even under Hodgson.

9+ but you never know in football on paper in appears like a fairly simple run but it never works out that way and in this league any one can beat you.

The other things are who knows what may or may not happen in transfer market or injuries

I would like to think 12 + would good and anything more than 15 would be amazing. Getting to 40 in record time should be the goal each year (which is basically a positive way to say 'survival is the priority'). If we average one point a game, thats 38 and a close survival season, so ideally we want to finish on 45-50 pts so 12 would be great after 10. This was once a quality forum....

I would be happy with 10 or 11 point return. We seem a lot better prepared in terms of fitness and pre season preperation. Let’s just hope we start by hitting the floor running.

I think the same 10/11 points.

I am not hopeful for the season due to lack of squad depth and inevitable injuries, so survival I think possible with all hands on deck.
