10 would be ok but i would hope for 12 plus, less then 10 is a poor return from the six winnable games.

If we get one, that will be an upgrade on last season and we finished mid-table

10-12 points should be achievable assuming most players stay injury free.
When everyone's available we have a pretty good match day squad.

No we didn't but De Boer seemed to have alienated and destroyed the confidence in the squad. Think how players like PVA, Ward Hennessey performed under him then under Roy. Even Reiderweld and TFM who were both clearly his choice and had played his system before looked lost, both were woeful v Huddersfield. Ward was clearly not a RWB and had been humiliated by his treatment and then picked to play in that position. When FDB was announced I thought he may be what we needed to move to next level but he made a catalogue of mistakes and clearly his man management was very questionable. RH had to rebuild the team spirit that was lost and that takes time

No manager can be judged on only 4 games. RH lost his 1st 3 games also. How many did Sam Allardyce lose at the start of his time as manager, at least 3-4 games?

I do think we need to make a good start to the season and get 11+, because once the inevitable injuries start to hit, we're going to find it very hard to cope.

As you are well aware, there was considerably more to the de Boer's sacking than the four PL matches. It was the pre-season, with players out of position and utterly confusing tactics. His talk of evolution, then immediately darastically changing a system that had worked, for one that clearly didn't. His total alienation of the dressing room. His arrogance when comfronted with clear evidence that his experiment wasn't working. If he'd stayed any longer we'd have been in the Championship last year.

Two wins and a draw, 7 points. Hope for a lot more though.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
