As traditional as Christmas pud or a Sunday morning post-vindaloo pan splatterer, this much loved event doesn’t seem to have put in an appearance this year. What on earth is going on?

It all went pear shaped when they started taking all too seriously and did away with the "Old Fart of the Year*" category. Look at the categories in 2003 (and the names of some of the nominees too!) [Link]

Well, some people 'cliqued' and some didn't Candidates for the Hol wrestling match then: Bexter, Halfmanhalfslug and Petealiator....... who would get the nod nowdays? Sterling. Maple and DanH?
