Thread on Ayew disappeared a moment ago. Did much better today, held the ball up well at times and he lasted the full 90. One particularly good moment was when he held it up, then played it to Andros, him and Wilf fluffed the shot, but it was a really good move. His movement was much better this week, and we were still able to play the occasional long ball up to him and Wilf as well. Going forward I think he has to start even with Benteke fit.

I agree, Ayew stood out today, and did a lot of things well. I'd like to see more of him.

Once Big Ben is fit again he will be back in the team. This guy is not a striker and you can tell by looking at him. System needs to change it's becoming like when AP was in charge just dropping people in expecting them to play that role.

Ayew maybe listed as a striker, but hes never really done in his career what a striker does, i.e. score goals. 61 goals in 315 appearances. Benteke has twice that strike rate. But Ayew did link up better today than i have seen Benteke do. I was surprised that Ayew got the nod over Sorloth, who does not seem to catch a break.
