Shame. Saw them a couple of years ago at the Churchill Bromley, good night.
It was all me and the kids listened to in the motor until the
‘ greatest showman’, turned up.grrrrrr.
Good music and great for kids as the tune and words are easy to pick up.

I have just heard the news and am devastated.

Chas n Dave were a part of my growing up and were master lyricists.

Ok walk past the Spurs stuff and just listen to There ain't no pleasing you and the words and tune are just classic.

God bless you Chas there is a beer for you in heavens sideboard.

You are so right, Orpingtoneagle! Great words from you. God has a lock-in planned as tribute to Chas, I hope.

Chas and Dave actually played at Selhurst Park as pre-match entertainment - I think it was prior to the opening game of the 1998/1999 season against Bolton.

He was in 'Heads Hands And Feet' with the very respected guitarist, Albert Lee.
