It's time to play James Daly. He is a natural finisher no matter what level it is. We played non league Dulwich Hamlet and PREMIER LEAGUE striker Jordan Ayew couldn't score yet our accademy star James Daly did. He has so much potential and Wan-Bissaka has fitted in well so why not give Daly a run out in the league. Who knows, he could end up being a star like Wan-Bissaka and Zaha. He can't be any worse then Benteke and Ayew...

I can think of about half a dozen Palace players who've failed to do exactly that recently.

yeah it happens, some will say we can do no worse, I just wouldn't start calling for him to play after scoring from 3 yards out with an open goal against non league opposition.

Here's a question...how may people were calling for Obi-Wan to play instead of Joel before he got injured ? Chances are if Wardy hadn't got injured and was still first choice RB we would have no idea whether AWB would make it at prem level. You make these calls when forced upon you which is what happened in that case. We have the same issue now regarding a decent striker...or lack thereof. Unless we stick Wilf and Andros up top then I can't see why we can't give Daly a bash...what do we have to lose ? If Roy makes it clear to him that if it doesn't work out he's still in his plans so he's not under too much pressure then I for one would love to see it. If he's pants...he's pants...but it would be nice to find out.
