I agree that this is a situation where we really have nothing to lose by trying a young striker, but it's important to remember that a striker has a huge amount of responsibility in a match, particularly in terms of hold-up play. It may be that our young strikers aren't judged to be physically or mentally capable of starting in that position in the PL, and it could be really damaging to their confidence if it goes wrong. I'll tell you what I would like to see - a young striker on the bench instead of Alexander 'Oh, do I have to play football now?' Sorloth

He scored an open goal from 3 yards out? Haven’t seen the goal but sounds like he got himself in a goal scoring position and scored. It’s what good strikers do. A goal is a goal, doesn’t matter how it goes in. Can’t be worse than Ayew. He’ll be hungry for it if given a run.
