I was hoping this would be the season where we wouldn't have to sing that!

"Always Look on the Bright Side of Life". With Norman Lamont half-buried in a pile of s***e and more s***e raining down on him from above.

Unfortunately we don’t have a Lookman or a Calvin-Lewis on our bench.
We can only swap 5hit for 5hit.

Living a few streets away from Selhurst Park, hearing Cathy's Clown prior to kick-off. Every time I hear it, I'm right back there again.

Early sixties, TELSTAR by the TORNADOES.
Yes, been looking at this lot for 60 years!!!
Lots of downs and not many ups!!!
At least we scored goals back then even when we lost.
Denis Uphill, Peter Burridge, Eddie Werge, Cliff Holton, Roy Summersby, Ron Heckman, Johny Byrne, etc, etc.
Great goalkeepers too: Vic Rouse, Bill Glazier. These guys played for peanuts, but they PLAYED!
And it only cost a few bob to sit and watch them play.
To lose only 4-3 to the great Real Madrid team was a great achievement. I hate to think what the latest lot would do against RM.
Thanks old timers for ENTERTAINING us and the music was good good too.

Exactly, how about 'You're dancing on my heart' by Victor Sylvester, anything by Hoagy Carmichael, The Ink Spots, Gracie Fields, Ruby Murray or Frank Ifield ...

Bit past its sell by date, that really reminds me of Selhurst

That's The Way God Planned It.

Remember this being played as I trudged out after a defeat, must have been in in the early 70's. I seem to recall hearing it quite regularly!!
