One of the bottom teams, i reckon Fulham will crack first and fire their coach, the investment is too huge, it would ruin them to go down again... they will get Sam Allardyce in and he will probably do the business for them.

Newcastle, Burnley i can see pulling away.

Cardiff and Hudds are down regardless - only a miracle will save them.

That leaves southampton, us and i hope.... brighton, battling it out.

We are in a difficult run of games, we do not become a better or worse team because of scheduling,
Whatever happens next three games I believe we are still better than the teams currently below us over 38 games.

We're on track to finish with 28 points......

That is politicians's language!
Sure lots will be capable. But will they? The truth is there are no certainties and even you can not be sure. Be it adjusting to the league, country or even simply injury. I have been very disappointed though that no gamble has been taken on some cheap foreign forwards and I do not mean Sorloth who was first not cheap and had already failed in the far less demanding league here.
Parish seems to get most of the stick here, but I think our scouting is dreadful. There may be issues in negotiating, but there is a whole world out there!

The point was listing just how many players the other teams have who can score.

I think the point was made why each of them have more chances to stay up. Hopefully not, but it will be very hard without someone banging in goals. There would be about 20 strikers worldwide that Palace could afford, capable of coming in and scoring asap in the PL. But someone needs to know his transfer business in the winter.

The unpalatable truth is we have never replaced Murray. No matter what your opinions are on the Murray saga, the fact is he scored us goals, no one has since.

Sorloth is not up to it, Wickham is made of glass, and Benheskey couldn't finish a 4 piece puzzle. We are better (potentially) than at least 5-6 teams in the prem which should see us comfortable come May.

However that is on the basis that we come up with a striker who isn't a has been, can score, and isn't made of glass. Because if we don't we could easily get relegated with Fulham/Huddersfield and Cardiff.

What pisses me off, is we have been in this league a good while now and have we progressed at all ? In real terms I would argue no we have not, meanwhile you have the likes of Wolves, Bournemouth, Watford, Burnley, Leicester and even the weed who are building and improving each year, all of whom we have been in the prem longer than.

We always f*** up in the transfer market, and somehow have jammed survival each year. How ever if we don't find someone who can score goals in the window I do honestly think we will struggle to stay up. Goals win games.

As long as we have a chaiman whose only worry is a stupid singing section then we will not progress at all.

It think you are looking at this through tinted glasses.

There is absolutely no evidence that Newcastle, Burnley or Fulham are any more or less likely than us to pull away from the relegation zone.

Just like there is little evidence that Brighton are going to get dragged back into it.

It wasn't that long ago that we were fifth or something at Christmas and ended up near the bottom with a pardewed squad, no strikers and on the receiving end of s*** results like the 5 - 4 defeat at Swansea.

And hoping that the weed will go down the toilet is never unreasonable.

A lot of clubs havenít worked out how to be jammy and finish 10th and 11th in the Premier.
You highlighted some clubs, but fail to mention established clubs that succumbed to relegation ie Villa, Swansea, West Brom, Stoke etc, all were in the Premier before us.

How on earth is that looking at it through rose tinted glasses - i am saying we are in a relegation scrap...
If anything i am being a pessimist - saying other clubs will pull away... and we won't... but whatever, carry on commenting on posts you don't understand.
