Clearly he痴 decent but a very different sort of player to RLC who could drop his shoulder and beat a man or two. The question ( for a while ) with RLC was end product and work rate but by the end of the season he壇 answered that IMO.

I知 sure I知 in the minority, but thought that RLC was alright last year, bit hit and miss. Had a good end to the season when he cemented his England place. Put overall not a great loan.

Meyer has started to show his talent at an earlier stage of the season compared to RLC. RLC was pretty hit and miss. Like others have said though, different qualities and I would be happy to have them both in the team. Is it me or does Luka seem to be quite inconsistent..Definitely makes more mistakes / loses the ball more often then Cabaye.

Saw a stat earlier this week suggesting that Luka is 4th in the list of players who have handed over possession to the opposition this season - 227 times. Top was Pogba (252) and 2nd was Billing (from Huddersfield (249), 3rd Xhaka (234). I knew he lost it a lot but to be in the top 5 is worrying. Edited by A89M (06 Dec 2018 2.13pm)

think it was a case of Luka winning the ball and passing to cabaye to pick out passes wheras now he has to win it and start attacks with passes which he looses and isint as accurate as cabaye was???

I mostly agree with you before he got injured he was below average. I couldn't see the reason for all the hype - he picked it up when he returned and played well enough to get himself to Russia.

At Rachid said, different player to RLC. Tuesday doesn't make him a poor player anymore than Saturday made him world class. I think it'll be another four, five games before we can get a truly accurate picture of where he's at. Even then you could argue a season is often needed to adjust to the pl though I'm not totally convinced by this argument.
