Young manager in if we survive and then sell and change, seems drastic but this happens every season.

We've a midfield full of tidy players who are comfortable with the ball. Throw in Riedewald and Puncheon. Tomkins and Sahko don't score enough from CB.

McArthur, Wilf and PVA get their fair share but the last looks a liability in defence. Townsend is generally shocking when asked the question and we've not got a fit centre forward worth the name. Where is the attacking / creative quality ?

Roy has to take the can for Sorloth but the rest ?

Sadly think you are right, SP has to be responsible with the rest of the board, RH can only play with the card that he has been dealt. At least half our first team squad, if not more would struggle to hold a place in any progressive team in the championship. Parish, oversees all signings, that his way so he has to take the can. Even on modest budgets, teams seem to progress, just look at Bournemouth, Watford & B&HA they all have Chairman who allow their Managers to manage, something SP does not do, he is a control freak and can't " walk the talk"!

Can you name the other board members as its a joint decision on transfers.
Watford and the Pozzos have gone through more managers than most and you think they allow them to manage!
Results determine peoples opinion, if Lukas free kick had gone in instead of crashing back off the bar, the chances at 2-0 we would of gone on to win.
Anti Parish posts always appear after a defeat, last week after Burnley win nothing. Says a lot about supporters.

TBH I wouldn't trust a manager who leaves any team to join us mid-season even if I wanted Wagner when we signed FdB.

'Says a lot about supporters' .....yeap it's a result based business and I as a supporter of close on 56 years have every right to say my bit. So I will turn it round to you; are you happy with how our club is being run with regards to planning, transfer policy and scouting, the first and last could be included within TP. When at the top you take the plaudits and critisism. Performances on the pitch at the moment will produce quite rightly the latter. You have rose tinted spectacles on!!

Didn’t we try that and attempt a different style. I think we all welcomed Roy in with open arms after 4 games

I actually think I'd like to see Roy prove it is the board/the hand he's been dealt.

Why not just play the next 3 games with Meyer in behind Sorloth, Wilf and Townsend on the wings and just see what happens.

If we win then he's a genius. If he loses even worse than we are now, all the fans will back him and say Sorloth's had 3 games with Wilf and Zaha in their correct positions and still not able to hit a cow's backside then heat will be on Parish.

I actually think Roy has the most football knowledge out of anyone at the club and certainly anyone on this board (shock horror) so if he thinks this 442 with Wilf and Andros is the most likely way for us to win then it almost certainly is.

So he's probably a bit cursed as it must go against everything in him to put out a different 11 just to prove the point he already knows. But football isn't an exact Science, if the ball goes off Sorloth's hand into the net and no one notices, he could go on a run you just can't predict. I think that's where Roy may have to lay faith in football God's, as on paper the best 11 are starting every week.

Sadly, SP records speaks for itself, 6 years in PL and no progress, he is obsessed about the stadium refurbishment, which will look great in the championship half empty, he has regularly botched up transfer deals that are consistently left to the last minute and then fall through. The club is toxic from within, evidenced by quality players talking to the club but then the deal never gets over the line. Freedman is the Director of Football in name only because he has done nothing to get players in, probably, he is not allowed enough rope by SP. Good previous managers have fallen out with SP. He has allowed us to drift with a paper thin squad for over two years now and without a decent striker for over 12 months and then there is just three wins this season and if we do go down he would have overseen the biggest loss in revenue in the clubs history, not a bad record I suppose?

As for the other board member they are responsible for allowing him to get this far without questioning him on his performance which is at best E-.

Never heard such tosh.

Every single one of our first 11 would walk into any championship squad. 5 or 6 of them would walk into most premiership teams outside the top 10.

Then there's our squad players, who are also decent championship level - Punch, Riederwald, Kelly, Ward etc.
