It should be fun for the commentators and scorers in todays one day match between the England and pakistan A teams with the pakistan batters at numbers 7 and 8 both called Mohammad Irfan. They are both spin bowlers and presumably it was just as confusing when they are bowling in tandem. As if that wasn't bad enough there is a third Mohammad Irfan in the squad

I must admit I like the look of several players in the Lions squad. Good to see Bess and Pope doing well.....Clarke not too shabby either.

Australia v India: The greatest rivalry in world cricket? The above is a headline on Cricinfo today. I'm guessing that whoever wrote the article doesn't know much about cricketing rivalries

There's a dilemma in one way because it's obvious that both Anderson and Broad are probably looking to retire after the Ashes.....But the Aussies will come with a battery of quicks while in truth.....perhaps Stone and Wood...with that youthful pace.... might be more effective in reply. I don't know....just musing. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Dec 2018 12.43pm)

They handily renamed one of them as Khan on the scorecard, but there was also another Khan in the side too.
