Those banners were not produced by those holding them. My understanding is that an individual with far right views was behind it. See here:-https://www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/newquay-rape-leads-new-protest-8273438 It sparked counterprotests from other people in the town, with "anti-racist" protesters outnumbering the "anti-migrant" ones 3 to 1:- So who really is speaking for Cornwall?

I was agreeing with you. That's nice. Thanks. It happens so infrequently here that I was unprepared for it!

Easily settled. Hop on a train and go for a stroll around Ilford and Barking then see how you get on with the non-doctors. It just isn't. The past has covered acres of comment here over the years. Usually without an ounce of practical suggestions and a tonne of vitriol. This is about what is happening now, post Brexit, pandemic and war. We need these people. That may be an uncomfortable fact for some to accept, but fact it is. Saying we ought not to be in this position is a completely separate, and quite pointless, debate. We are, so now let's do the best we can.

Rishi Sunak and Suella Braverman walk through the streets of Chelmsford accompanied by police. 'Allow migrants in', but in effect, not you lot. A sentiment I wholly endorse. Chelmsford, new home of heckling, just about still allowed in the land of 'freedom'.

Banners not produced locally? How do you know, lack of spelling mistakes? Perhaps someone went to a sign writer who was highly committed to welcoming all illegal immigrants, but felt obliged to accept the commission in case he was charged with some sort of discrimination?

Further proof that you can make it from immigrant stock in the UK, with the election of the SNP leader. But I question the morality of the hard-line stance of people like Sunak, Patel and Braverman. These are people who have benefited from the kindness and generosity of the UK, yet it is they that seek to deny it to others.

Can you describe becoming leader of some regional extreme party as 'making it'?

Indeed , makes me laugh the people who hate the immigrants the most are the immigrants themselves .

So Suella Bravermann is going to rejoice at the first flight if it happens to Rwanda? Well hop on it yourself dear, then we will all have a reason to celebrate.

They're moaning in the UK anyway. If they're safe in Rwanda - what's the problem? Are people trying to say something's wrong with Africa?
