So no body died? I can't help but think this would not have made the news if the day before the state announced proposals to stop youngsters driving at night.

There have been multible deaths in car crashes and not made the news.

Just more conditioning by the state to try and win approval for their plans.

By the state, you mean virtually every independent news agency, do you?

I hear what your saying but i find the whole thing bizzar. People get hurt in a car accident. Seriously, is this news.

Here is a woman who died, nothing in the national news. [Link]

I don't know how our media works but somthing stinks and I'm seeing more similarities like this.

I see where you are coming from, but I don't understand why you are so worked up about it.

My family and I picked up the story on Facebook last night via sharing. No media outlets were involved, and as far as I'm aware neither were any 'state' personnel.

Our reaction was "what a bunch of dumb-asses", not "this has all the makings of a state conspiracy".

I'm not worked up at all, I just find it odd. Perhaps possibly the state sow the seeds knowing all the others follow.
One quick check on the BBC and there are numerous deaths from car crashes reported at local level. Then 16 get hurt, with a picture in the dark and it makes national news. The day after they want to ban night driving for youngsters.

Well, yeah, that’s how the news works - if something happens which closely links to an existing news story, it’s more likely to get attention.

Here are the last few brexit head lines from the BBC which I view as trying to condition and change public opinion.

The UK will have to face consequences of no deal deal brexit

10 things that stopped brexit happening

No deal brexit threat to uk research

Labour will back remain

Brexit campaigner threatens no deal court
Battle.

All social conditioning.

Then take LGBT.
Look how much news coverage this gets nationaly, the population of LGBT is minute, yet gets huge national coverage. More social conditioning.

No it's not. It's news. You only think they are "social conditioning" because you favour a "no deal" Brexit.

If anyone on the "no deal" side of the argument could come up with anything more valid and interesting than vague wishes and hopes you can be sure it would be reported. I heard Iain Duncan-Smith, who is widely tipped to be deputy PM under BJ, respond to the OBR's report on the economic impact of a no deal Brexit by dismissing it as just speculation. The OBR is entirely indendent and objective. If that's the best that the no dealers can come up with it's hardly surprising it doesn't make the news.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

What's Brexit got to do with an idiot pulling out of a junction without looking?

I think you're reading too much into this particular news item, and its newsworthiness comes from the fact that 17 people being injured in a gathering like this is more unusual and 'stand out' than a person dying in a car crash.
