I know what he did was very wrong and he should rightly be punished but I think 18 years is a bit steep, especially as he is obviously a bit doolally tap. 'Lies to the masses as are like fly's to mollasses...they want more and more and more'

I understand you point here.....I think he's sentence is partly a reflection upon the damage done....not only by him directly but by the institutions that believed him. I understand you point here.....I think he's sentence is partly a reflection upon the damage done....not only by him directly but by the institutions that believed him.

He's serving a sentence that incorporates that and it's probably projection and hence a form of deflection......it isn't good enough to just blame the fruitcake....a fruitcake is always going to be a fruitcake.

I'm a little uncomfortable with it, to be honest. Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I don't know enough about it and I guess none of us do. In the interest of consistency 18 years seems a lot when murderers might only serve ten and rapists a year or two. That is a bit of a red flag to me.
