Highlights can be deceptive. The odd flash from Camarasa but not enough to warrant a start. McCarthy still looks off the pace to me. With the midfield we had out the other night I would have expected them to dominate the game and they didn't in any way shape or form.

In terms of work rate and general cohesiveness, I think this would be our best XI, assuming everyone was fit:
GK: Guaita
LB: PvA
RB: Ward
CB: Cahill
CB: Sakho
CM: Luka
CM: Kouyate
RM: Townsend
LM: Schlupp
ST: Zaha
ST: Ayew

Then again, this'd only work well if we kept the ball to feet every once in a while...
