Returned after ten years. So what did everyone make of it? I found it took me a few minutes to get back into it but once I did i thought it was as good as ever.

Loved it. They all got their old characters spot on. Pretty certain I was one of millions whose words at the end were an instinctive "Oh no!"

Only one who didn't seem to have aged was Gwen, no mention of her omlettes though and the Uncle Bryn/Jason fishing trip revelations cut short - maybe this story line was a red herring anyway. Missed Smithy's sister, her cameos were hilarious before. The teaser ending hinted at another Christmas edition to come ..

Comparing Gavin and Stacey to greats such as only fools, blackadder, fast show, etc is like comparing eating fresh seafood by in st tropez with eating a crust of pizza found in near empty pizza box at 4am when cold n hungry
