This a forum for opinions and stories of 'inside information'. If you heard or have information, this is the platform to share it. Agreed half are nonsense, but Brinscall Eagle could actually be reinforcing what we all know from a higher source at Everton - that he is sh*te!

I accept the principle of what you say but in this case the person is not a supporter he is actually an ex professional and has been coaching with both Everton and Wigan and has now retired but still scouts for Everton. He is very much aware of the Everton situation and indeed has a professional valued opinion. I Matteo am only throwing in someone’s valued opinion of Tosun and others which is probably nearer the truth than your average supporters opinion like mine. COYP

On the subject of scouts, I have been in the company of those who have really had polarised views about certain players resulting in some frank discussions. As an example, many years ago I was with some scouts who had totally divergent opinions about a couple of players.One player was a Japanese chap Bolton had just acquired and the other was Michael Dawson who was with Nottm Forest at the time.One of the gentleman was excited about the Bolton acquisition whereas the other was rather less enthusiastic.The Japanese player hardly made an impact at Bolton. So I said Tosun and have kept quite and just listened the abuse and people doubting my sources well you will see in the next week that I am right. I have said many times that I only pass on what I have been told some of it tends to be rubbish some has substance. Batsman is still on cards and very much is dependent on Zaha going to Chelsea in the Summer if not before. Walkers Peters is in talks but so are 3 other clubs so not nailed on but a possibility told we are working hard to get this done loan with option to buy however another club is offering to buy now. I’m also hearing we have held preliminary talks with 2 other clubs will try to find out more before posting as don’t want to be accused of anything. The person who questioned my ITK and Dom Fifield has not heard anything ask him now if he knows I bet he does in regards to Tosun.

Apropos Tosun, he is not lightning face but is content to use both feet so he doesn't have to engineer the ball on to his stronger foot.He has decent movement and is efficient in the air.He was Allardyce's first signing at Everton. This season, Tosun has scored 1 goal from 5 PL appearances, 3 of which have been from off the bench. Edited by Willo (08 Jan 2020 4.46pm)

I have just been told that Walker- Peters will be conformed next week on 6 month loan deal and option to buy for £15m plus add-ons. Palace have beaten 3 other clubs including Brighton & Southampton to secure the deal. Not a bad deal to be fair.

Scouts report on players that they have seen and pass the information on. What the people above do with it is up to them. Managers themselves have opinions of players justifying why they should or should not buy them. There are many cases of players bought because of the opinion they would be good but turn out to be less than useful to the team. Every club can sight examples.
