I wouldn’t expect an owner to spend all his money funding players, in fact I am not sure this is allowed under ffp. He is a pauper in PL terms but Harris and Blitzer most certainly are not.

Usually I’m more than frustrated with our inability to go early, especially as Roy takes forever to bring players into the squad, and we lose ground early. This year I think it’s a good tactic, there are a lot of bloated squads that with the drop in income need to unload. As the window goes on financial reality will bite and a buying club like ours can make hay. Daniel Sturridge come on down!

This year I think it’s a good tactic, there are a lot of bloated squads that with the drop in income need to unload. As the window goes on financial reality will bite and a buying club like ours can make hay.

I'm not sure why you are holding Hodgson to account for not getting players in - that's not his job. And I don't know why you consider us to be a '' buying '' club any more or less than anybody else. He said they often did their business late in the window, when prices and availability is more clear.
