I remember Mr Derek as a kid but I did not realise that he was the same guy in Yes Minister. Another bit of the life memories jigsaw lost under the sofa.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Derek Fowlds' by Midlands Eagle As most will know he passed away a few days ago. I always loved his characters, from the sidekick to Basil Brush, in Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister and many others. I came across this clip on Twitter:- [Tweet Link]
