Interesting article on Bloomberg today about mRNA based vaccines - essentially the mRNA process can be used to target and treat cancer in a non collateral fashion. Along with vaccines for a whole host of other diseases, expect them to become commonplace over the next 10 years. The early cancer research appears potentially game changing I hadn't heard about that, so thanks. What great news if it turns out to be true. I wonder how the anti-vaccinators will react to that? Will Bill Gates and George Soros be seen as trying to control them all again?
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

No doubt when a genuine health concern for themselves comes up you'd suddenly find them 're-evaluating' their position. Until then, they're happy to just idly read websites set up in basements while telling everyone what idiots they are for being vaccinated during a pandemic.

The guilt a lot of people will be feeling for the rest of their days. A mate of mine's Nephew had a cough but got tested and received a negative result. He decided to stay with his parents and sister at Christmas. It turns out he did have covid, they all caught it, and his sister then passed it onto her boyfriend and a couple of members of his family. The cascades that these mistakes can cause. That and a friend of a friend works in an old folks home, and they just had an outbreak there. It was literally a week after they got vaccinated, but hopefully that conveys some level protection. I believe you're looking at three weeks until the strongest response to the first dose. Sad that some people will get caught out days before it would no longer be a matter of life and death.
